:)
Am I ever so excited!
Halloween is finally just around the corner. Brilliant. It means that there is little over 3 months left in Canada. This is great on so many levels.
For xmas I hope my family listens to me this year and actually gives me something i need not ramdon garbage. I will be asking for horseland vouchers. For those that are not in Australia Horseland is one of the major chain horsey type stores in Australia, they carry alot of useless shit but some of it is great, they have a fairly decent selection of rugs and i'd most likely get a pair of good clippers from there too, I'll probably be making my own first aid kit because i think its better to do that than buy an already made up one that may have items i most likely wont use or items i'd rather buy in a bigger form because i know i will use.
I am so damn excited about all this. I havent had much time to actually sit down and read my books much more, I will be though in the next couple of weeks. I have started selling furniture now which seems to be a huge chore. Though things are slowly selling and alot of the items people have asked me to hold for them.
Geoff is asking his work in November about a transfer for work, if all goes well i can purchase a horse whenever i want after then. If firedance is still available i will have the option to buy him and Geoff will be totally ok with it. I emailed one horse breaker just to enquire about the costs of breaking and they said it would be $800 plus GST for 5 weeks and any additional feed after 5 weeks i'd need to pay. Seems doable if i did buy an unbroken youngster.
My opinion is i'd rather buy a younger horse because as untrained as it is. I can grown and learn with it, i will be owning this horse for hopefully the rest of its life, so 3 as opposed to something like 10 is a good option. horses inbetween these ages tend to go for alot more money, because they are young and fairly trained.
I also forgot i bought these brilliant buckets about 1 year or so ago, they are stainless steel and just are amazing quality, they should be for $20. Cant wait to use them to carry my horses feed out :P I've kept them from being used for house cleaning etc forbidding geoff to use them. Though we put some ash from the fireplace in them but that wont hurt a horse because they will be washed out thoroughly. A little ash never hurt nobody!
